Justin isn’t easily bored. He still talks about the fish fry that he ate at a Florence restaurant, the clam chowder in a small town near Florence, and the smear of what appeared to be blood on the wall of the cheap motel we stayed at. There was also a state beach which had a special gate for vehicles with disability plates. And to drive right down to the breaking waves. That was the coolest part for me.
That part of Oregon’s coast is spectacular. Justin and I stayed near Florence on his 16th birthday trip.
