Too Long to be a Ground Snake

According to the websites, ground snakes grow to 15 inches (38cm). So, what is it?

Thanks to Jozien (of the Yukon) and her use of iNaturalist, the snake was identified on 3, Dec, as a Coachwhip. (I was sure it was a bushmaster.)

Near Tubac, Arizona

Just over three feet, I guess (92cm)

    1. This one was so pretty. Red, for godz sake! When have u ever seen a RED snake? It was a GiFt!

It DID have a somewhat gimlet eye. But then, when it comes to humans, that seems only natural, doesn't it?
