Your criticism is well-placed, but anything further, at least on her exterior, would, I feel, detract from her understated elegance.
That said, for years I tried to get Ms. Cook, artist extraordinaire, to paint flames comprised of donuts and carrots (our leitmotifs) coming from behind and above the front wheel wells. Somehow, she's never had the time. But not long ago she DID add the crowning touch to Phoebe's other embellishments with a custom license plate.

Though it doesn't show off the amazing design & workmanship, the rack by Trini Saavedra is a masterpiece. Its strength & versatility enables it to perform numerous functions including keeping a seven iron handy which, when its not being practiced with as a self-defense tool, gets used to help me pull myself upright.
They didn't make a roof rack for the '96 Tracker so I designed one and had it made. We, Ms. Cook & I, refer to it as her chappeau. She's received numerous compliments on it.
Two stickers adorn the back door: the German flag above her "brand" and RUN WITH SCISSORS in the lower right. 'Nough said. (tap image & spread fingers to enlarge. Unfortunately, that takes you out of this post thereby creating an annoyance. But you asked.)
