Western Colorado Center For the Arts - Erin Holscher Almazan

The Center had several shows. Nothing knock yer socks off, but well worth the $3.00 entrance fee.

First up Ms. Erin Holscher Almazan. The ones I photographed were bounded on each side as shown in this first photo. The images were so bland I didn't bother. Curious about how/why they chose to hang them the way they did, I left a message for the Curator, but have yet to hear back.

  1. sometimes your lack of clarity (i have no idea what you are saying about these images) does want me to look beyond links you suggest. And i am glad i did. First looking at the images, i found them somewhat appalling, almost a feeling of a pervert ha painted those. And the contradiction, like the title at your first photo, about doing it together, while the exhibition was solo, and the the image on either side of the middle one, actually look away from eachother. I decided to google this Erin, and i am glad i did, everything i saw was actually her intention, did you read her bio on her website?

    1. Sorry.

I really made no comment other than at the very beginning. The Words above each image are the title cards that were pasted to the wall next to the images.

But I find YOUR comment about them being appalling interesting; please say more.
