At this time of year altitude has an impact. While it's blisteringly hot in Tucson, the nearby mountains sport a mantle of snow deposited during the night.
Nice camp spot. I've feeling a case of hitch itch coming on.

It's back to being overcast, windy, and not very warm in Tucson.

In my youth I, like many others, hitch-hiked around the country. One day I got a ride from a guy who owned a Mayflower moving van. He offered me a job and over the next several weeks I learned how to pack. The truck broke down and after three days of sleeping on the pavement next to it, I moved on. But the learning stuck.
