Piddling Southward

It was time for a new computer.

I found a 12" laptop in Mesa and ran up to get it.

Now piddling my way southward on highway 79 toward Tucson.

For Jozien

Some pretty country out here and the sideroads are surprisingly well-maintained.

But watch out for the javelinas, they're known to attack w/o provocation.

  1. I've never seen a red and white striped cactus before.

    1. Me either. It looked quite pleased with itself, tucked in among some metamorphosed quartz. I'm exploring highway 79 south of Florence, AZ.

  2. :) thank you. Mallow comes to mind looking at the pink flower for me.
The cacti amazing, so prolific, lush.

    1. I don't know if there's been more rain than usual, but it is amazingly green!
