    1. BLM policy states: No nudity if you're anywhere where you're likely to encounter "the public." After several days I've seen more than expected of Der Pooblik, but not even a *hint* of enforcement. With my "phizeek, I try to avoid offending.

      ******TMI WARNING *****

I generally wear *something* to protect the bottom of the drivers' seat.

  3. What was your role/job in 'arts administration?' What did you do between 2004 and 2010 before you became one with Phoebe's predecessor.

    1. Art, couldn't you have asked me something easy?

Send me an email and I'll write a bit as often as I can.

An overview: I was involved with a millionairess who convinced me to turn myself in to the Mental Health Center where on April 1st 2004 I was declared unfit for popular consumption and placed on SS Disability.

The next two years were (mostly) lost to heavy sedation and in April 2006 she died of pancreatic cancer.

In 2008 I was daytrading online and lost $40,000.00 in the crash (in a matter of hours) and became REALLY depressed.

That's all I'm willing to disclose here.

Your gift for incisive query is almost frightening.

    2. Throughout 2020, hiding out during the Pandemic, I day traded two stocks successfully. As early 2022 evolved I was pleased to have avoided COVID but then I lost all of my 2020 gain in two days ($100,000). I try not to think about it. You've depressed me with the evoking of that memory. Your snippets of history are good, probably good enough. Thank you.

    3. Art, I was so shocked by your question about the time between 2004 & 2010 I forgot to answer the one about arts admin.

In 1993 I opened a gallery on Central Ave two blocks west of the University of New Mexico and ran it for five years. In that time I consistently sold $50,000.00 worth of art each year, but my goal was $250,000.00 by the 5th year. When I failed to reach it I consulted Linda Durham (google her) and based on that conversation decided to close.

I then started a company providing after-school prgs in the arts to Albuq's elem & middle schools. I hired mostly graduate students from the Univ of NM College of Education. We offered 22 programs. That lasted four years

I was Executive Director of the Mountain Arts Council for two years.

I lasted four months as Director of the Kirtland Air Force Base arts program. In that time I managed to get their four large ceramic kilns repaired. They'd been non-functional for 7 years.

In between the after-school prgs & KAFB, Ms. Cook and I bought and sold used art supplies. We quit after two years as it was too much work for the money.

I also served on the Downtown Business Development Committe and the Art Business Association that coordinated the City's monthly ArtsCrawl and other arts events.

Lastly, I curated an exhibit at the Albuq Art League that generated enough controversy to get me on tv (for about the 4th time).
