Cognitive Dissonance - Folsom Street Fair

Cataract surgery happens, in Palo Alto, 9/26. There's a followup on Oct 4. In between is The Folsom Street Fair.

For two sensualists who dislike (read: hate!) crowds, this is a wonderful dilemma.

(We're staying in an AirBnb in Menlo Park in case u'r nearby an' wanna confab.)

  1. I lived in Menlo Park 35 years ago in a place on the corner of Willow and O'Keefe. After a couple of years I moved to SF.

    1. Al, we're gonna be on Arnold Way between Chester and Grayson Ct. It's a nicely-appointed cottage 6 minutes from Byers Eye Institute.

We didn't realize how close it is to the freeway until we booked it. As you've probably surmised, noise is an issue for me. Should we be prepared to move?

      Thanks.

  2. Good luck with the surgery. Clear vision ahead, hopefully!
