God bless the Chinese workers. They came to our country to better their lives and they were treated horribly. I only know of the mine workers who were given the shit jobs - and did them without complaining. They worked very very hard. Still they were treated like dirt. Also, they're women were mistreated and used for sex (against their will).

DeleteI picked up a bit from some wonderful folks in Sumpter that led me to the cemetery, but she didn't mention the sexual abuse. Quite honestly, I'm relieved; I find it extremely difficult to hear of such.
