There's a very pretty area of mesa's and badlands that is also popular with the shootists. I haven't heard so much "blamming" since I was in Berdoo Canyon out by Palm Springs (see: https://newmexnomad.blogspot.com/2017/02/blam-blam-blam-blamblamblam-blamity.html ). But if you keep going, you come out onto the plain and The Pipeline Road where there're no backstops and thus, no shootists
