Durango Environs

There's a bookstore in Durango that advertises in High Country News...or maybe I just think it does. It's a reason to stop. Anyone have any suggestions for places to see? I'm gonna mosey on over to Dolores and thence up toward Rico. It's gotta be cooler.

    Either going or returning take the scenic route 184 short cut between Dolores and Mancos... then up by Rico take 38, a nice side loop gravel county road that goes past Dunton and comes back out on the main hi way (145) down near Delores. Nice country!!!
