I know...I know. Winter doesn't OFFICIALLY even START until later this month. But as a dyed-in-the-wool cold wuss, it began for me in mid-October when I had to put on pants as soon as I went outside. For ME, perhaps like the groundhog, it's now mid-winter.

With three inches of ice on the driveway, fifteen inches of snow on the ground and three and a half more months of snow and cold I do not have to check the weather to just put pants on...first thing. You link was timely and appreciated just as I was expressing my disappointment of everything captioned with 'perseverance of the human spirit' or anything close.
